5 Simply Delicious Ways to Use Our 7-Grain Baking Mix

7-Grain Muffins
2 cups Texas Pure Milling 7-grain Baking Mix ¼ cup sugar ¾ cup water or milk 1 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla ½ cup fresh berries or dried fruit of your choice (optional)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400°. In a large bowl, combine baking mix and sugar. In a small bowl combine the milk, egg and vanilla.
Pour the wet mixture over the dry mixture and combine until a smooth batter is created. Add fruit if desired.
Line a standard size muffin pan with 6 muffin liners and lightly mist the pan with a non-stick spray. Scoop muffin batter into muffin pan divided evenly between 6 muffins.
Bake 20-25 minutes until golden brown and muffins spring slightly when touched.

7-Grain Pancakes
1 cup Texas Pure Milling 7-grain Baking Mix ½ cup water or milk 1 egg
Directions:
Combine in a medium bowl until just moist. For thinner pancakes add 1-2 Tbsp. more water.
Cook on a hot griddle that has been lightly oiled.
Turn when edged are dry and bubbly. Serve warm with syrup or jam.
Chocolate Chip Pancakes: Stir in ¼ cup mini chocolate chips.
Blueberry Pancakes: Stir in ½ cup blueberries.

7-Grain Banana Bread
1 ½ cup Texas Pure Milling 7-grain Baking Mix ½ cup sugar 2 mashed bananas 1 cup water 1 tsp. vanilla 1 egg
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 375° degrees. In a medium bowl combine the baking mix and sugar. In a separate small bowl, combine the bananas, water, vanilla and egg.
Stir well. Combine the wet and the dry ingredients, just until the dry ingredients are moist.
Divide between 2 well-oiled mini loaf pans (4 inch by 2 ½ inch) or 1 large loaf pan (8 inch by 3 inch). Bake 25-30 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the loaf comes out clean.

7-Grain Fruit Crisp
1 cup Texas Pure Milling 7-grain Baking Mix 1 cup Old Fashioned rolled Oat 1 cup brown sugar 1 tsp. ground cinnamon 1/2 cup melted butter 2 tsp. vanilla ½ cup water 4-5 cups fresh sliced apples, peaches or berries OR 2 cans (22 oz. each) prepared pie filling
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375°. In a large bowl, combine the 7-grain baking mix, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon and melted butter until.
Add water and vanilla. Put prepared fruit in a 9 inch by 9-inch casserole and top with oat mixture.
Bake 35-40 minutes. Serve warm with ice cream if desired.

7-Grain Scones
1 cups Texas Pure Milling 7-grain Baking Mix ½ cups sugar ½ cup sour cream 1 egg 1 Tbsp. vanilla 1 Tbsp. orange or lemon zest ½ cup flavor agents of choice, like cinnamon, currants, dried cherries, chocolate chips (optional)
Directions:
In a medium bowl combine baking mix and sugar.
Add remaining ingredients and knead until dough is rough. Mound onto a well-floured countertop.
Roll out in circle 3/4-inch-thick and cut into 6 wedges. Bake 400° 17-20 minutes.
