Classic Buttermilk Pancakes

Pancakes should be one of the simplest pleasures in Texas. This is one of our staple recipes for using our All Purpose Baking Mix.

Buttermilk Pancakes

2 cups Texas Pure Milling All Purpose Baking Mix

¾ cup buttermilk

1 tsp vanilla (optional)

1 egg

Directions: In a medium bowl combine all ingredients. Scoop by ¼ cup onto a hot greased griddle. Turn after 1-2 minutes. Yield about 1 dozen 3 inch pancakes. Serve warm drizzled with syrup or molasses if desired.
