Our 7-Grain and seed baking mix is fantastic for hearty and delicious pancakes. Adding buttermilk gives the pancakes a delightful tangy depth. We love them with strawberry sauce, caramel or maple syrup.
1 cup Texas Pure Milling 7-grain Baking Mix ½ cup milk or buttermilk 1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
Combine in a medium bowl until just moist. For thinner pancakes add 1-2 Tbsp. more buttermilk. Cook on a hot griddle that has been lightly oiled.
Turn when edged are dry and bubbly. Serve warm with syrup or jam.
Chocolate Chip Pancakes: Stir in ¼ cup mini chocolate chips.
Blueberry Pancakes: Stir in ½ cup blueberries.
